Morpheus was formed in Stockholm in 1990 by the current Necrophobic guitars players Sebastian (in Necrophobic from1996 till present) and Johan (2001 – present). The Stockholm youngsters recorded one demo in 1990 (as Exhumed) one mini album ‘in The Arms of..,.” and a full length before all members went on in more known Swedish death metal bands. And still are. For example: Sebastian Ramstedt (In Aphelion, Necrophobic, ex-Black Trip, ex-Nifelheim and Johan Bergebäck, (In Aphelion Necrophobic, ex-Dismember, ex-Amon Amarth (live), ex-Nifelheim). Drummer Markus Ruden was original member of Carbonized). Recorded at Studio Sunlight with Thomas Skogsberg (Entombed, Dismember, Grave). Extensive liner notes by Chris Dick (Decibel Magazine).
